Meet our founder
Dr. Jake Finney
Founder · Biblical Devoted Life Ministries
Dr. Jake Finney founded Biblical Devoted Life Ministries to help Christians know God through His Word, grow in Christ, live out their faith, and go into the world with the gospel.
A native of Lebanon, Indiana, Jake was called to Legacy Bible Church as Pastor of Student Ministries in March 2021. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from Franklin College in 2020. He continued his education at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, earning a Master of Divinity and a Graduate Certificate in Apologetics and Philosophy. He earned his Doctor of Ministry in Ministry Leadership through Liberty University.
Jake is a conservative evangelical committed to faithfully teaching all of Scripture and proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. Following Christ’s example of servant leadership, he seeks to make disciples, equip believers for ministry, and help Christians use their spiritual gifts to serve God and others.
Jake is married and has children.
